I used to belong to a group that did retreats (fiber-craft) type and they were fun, there was some planned things or DIY; lots of help with your project, an afternoons walk (this place near a long beach) and a after dinner speaker along with a dress up theme for dinner – you felt you were very much part of the community. However, she eventually grew on me, when she began to lose her airs and graces and was more respectful to people, she was a lot more likeable.
